Your Capréa jewelry is designed to be enjoyed. With the right care, you can help preserve its appearance and keep your pieces looking beautiful for longer.
Our gold-plated pieces use 18K gold PVD plating over stainless steel. PVD plating is more durable than traditional gold plating, but like all plated jewelry, its appearance can change over time depending on how the piece is worn and cared for.
Keep Your Jewelry Away From Water
Although our jewelry is designed for everyday wear, we recommend removing it before:
- Showering or bathing
- Swimming
- Going to the beach
- Using a sauna or steam room
Repeated exposure to water, salt water, and chlorine can affect the appearance of the jewelry over time.
Avoid Perfume & Chemicals
Apply perfume, lotions, creams, and other beauty products before putting on your jewelry.
Try to avoid direct contact with:
- Perfume
- Hairspray
- Lotions and creams
- Cleaning products
- Alcohol-based products
- Chlorine and other chemicals
Allow beauty products to dry before wearing your Capréa pieces.
Store Your Jewelry Properly
When you're not wearing your jewelry:
- Keep each piece in a dry place.
- Store pieces separately when possible to avoid scratches and tangling.
- Keep your jewelry away from direct sunlight and humidity.
- Use the original Capréa packaging or a suitable jewelry box/pouch.
Clean Gently
If your jewelry needs cleaning, gently wipe it with a soft, dry microfiber cloth.
Avoid abrasive cloths, jewelry polishing chemicals, toothpaste, or harsh cleaning products, as these may damage the finish.
